It is celebrated in six Fridays of cuaresma, to 7 in the morning, in the Juárez Stroll " the Level one ". Oaxaqueña is a tribute to the beauty of the woman, made by the different schools from the Independent University Benito Juárez de Oaxaca. It consists of naming queens, by affection and beauty, to young ladies who participate in a stroll. During its route they are receiving flowers, as a vote to its favor, on the part of the present horsemen. The ladies are chosen queens who more flowers obtained in the stroll, and are awarded with great branches of claveles or red roses. The musical notes of marimba, the band of the state or some of rondallas of the same schools brighten up this event. Location the Juárez Stroll the Level one is located to the North of the central seat (Socle) of the capital city, between the streets of Av. Juárez (to the West), Pine Suárez (to the East), Lic. Truth (to the North) and Berriozabal (to the South). approximate Time: 15 minutes walking.
